“I’m doing a joint honours in Biochem. Nutrition and Behavioural Neuroscience. I’m going to be going to Med. School in the fall and that’s already more expensive than what I pay now so any further increases will make life much more difficult. And the tuition I did my undergrad with is a big reason I chose to stay in Newfoundland. I think for future undergrad students it’s important to have that as a source of attraction.
I’m originally from Scotland but moved to Canada when I was 10. I was planning on going back to Scotland for University, but I saw Memorial and I liked the programs, and the cost was a big factor, and I decided to stay. And now I’m going to the Med. School here for another four years.”
